This post was suggested by a mate at work who's a big Motorhead fan (thanks Tom) who told me that Lemmy often wrote songs for other artists, which I wasn't previously aware of. After a little research I found that he'd written a number of songs with Ozzy Osbourne, as well as collaborating with Lita Ford, Steve Vai and Randy Rhoads among others, and even contributing 'Yesterlove' to Sam Gopal - an early band of his from 1969. Although he didn't specifically write 'Jailbait' for Wendy O Williams, she gives such a spirited rendition - and she used to invite Lemmy on stage to perform it with her - that I've included just the one cover. So this is the best of the songs that Lemmy collaborated on that you might not have realised that he was involved with, and it includes a track that he wrote with Huntress in 2013, which is particularly timely as I've just heard that lead singer Jill Janus has passed away at the age of just 43.
