Soulseek update

I've tried port forwarding again but am getting nowhere, so I've bitten the bullet and completely uninstalled Soulseek and then downloaded the latest version. Luckily it didn't delete all my files, so anyone who hasn't managed to get it to work in the past few weeks can try again now and see what happens.

  2. Thanks a lot. Unfortunately, I still cannot access your files and have tried using a VPN and not using a VPN - both times my port is open. There's obviously something not right with Soulseek as I can access some peoples files and cannot access others. If you don't mind, I'll keep using the email address you kindly shared to ask for the Mega links. Thanks as always. Absolutely love your work!

  3. As you may remember I've had a history of hit and miss with your SoulSeek arrangement, but my most recent experience was both odd and different from any before your latest change. When I search using 'aiwe' and the band name, it returns not the complete album but just one random track from the album. Although I can right click on this result and download the complete album, it is a strange result I've not experienced before. I thought you should know.

However I'm not complaining, so please keep up your most excellent posts - long may you continue.

  4. Hi y'all, Paul from the Albums That Should Exist blog. I've been sharing my music files via SoulseekQT a long time. And one thing everyone should know is that it doesn't share all files from everyone all the time. I guess there's just too much stuff to share, so everyone is only connected to part of the network at any one time. Then, and I'm not quite sure how it works, but it shifts every few days. So if you can't connect to someone and their files at first, just be patient. It should happen eventually.
