Following the cancellation of her 1999 debut album 'Cold As Ice', Charli Baltimore left Untertainment Records, and in 2001 she signed to Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, where she hoped to be more successful. After appearing on records by Ja Rule, Christina Milian and Ashanti, she recorded her second album 'The Diary (You Think You Know)', and released the title track as a single. Despite making no impact on any of the Billboard charts, the song was surprisingly nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Rap Solo Performance, but the lack of success of the other four singles released from the album meant that her second album suffered the same fate as her first, and it was consigned to the vaults, never to see the light of day. For anyone who tried 'Cold As Ice' and wants to hear more from the rapper, then here is her second shelved album, 'The Diary (You Think You Know)'.
