I mentioned in my recent post of rarities from The Sisters Of Mercy that the band are still touring, and also writing new material, but Andrew Eldritch has cited both time constraints and lack of available material as reasons for the band not venturing into the studio to record some of their new songs. I guess I understand the lack of material excuse, as having trawled through their live sets of the last few years there are only about 13 new songs that are being played, but that does make up just enough music for an album, as proven by this post. I've taken twelve of their best live recordings and re-mastered them to sound like a studio album, so here is the first "new" album from The Sisters Of Mercy since 1990.
